The C&D VALVE CD5516/6 is a braze-on self-piercing copper saddle valve designed for 5/16 inch OD tubes. This M-series valve is installed on charged lines by brazing the saddle portion onto the line. A steel pin with a valve core penetrates the line and is secured by tightening the cap, providing a copper-to-copper connection. It is constructed from copper.
