The BW TECHNOLOGIES cp-i-w5x1h1m1-y-00 is a serviceable four-gas portable detector configured to monitor percent LEL (infrared), O2, H2S, and CO in a single yellow-housing unit. Designed for industrial and confined-space environments, the detector uses an icon-based display that removes the need for workers to interpret live gas concentration readings. When a gas alarm triggers, a bell icon and a sensor-specific indicator illuminate simultaneously, allowing fast area evacuation. Intelligent i-Series sensors track remaining sensor life and calibration status, supporting predictive maintenance workflows. The unit is rated IP66 and IP68, making it suitable for harsh field conditions. Licensed safety professionals and industrial hygienists are the primary users of this device.
The cp-i-w5x1h1m1-y-00 is used in residential, commercial, and industrial applications wherever atmospheric hazard monitoring is required — including confined-space entry, oil and gas worksites, utilities, and construction. The icon display reduces training time on the floor. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity pairs the detector with the Honeywell Safety Suite Device Configurator app or the Safety Communicator app, allowing supervisors and safety managers to pull full gas concentration data, alarm reports, and device status directly from a smartphone without interrupting field operations.
The cp-i-w5x1h1m1-y-00 is compatible with Honeywell Safety Suite Device Configurator software and the Honeywell Safety Communicator app via Bluetooth Low Energy pairing. Sensor configuration and alarm set point adjustments require the Device Configurator or Safety Suite Device Configurator software.
This detector is worn or carried by the worker and does not require electrical wiring or hardwired installation. Attach using the included alligator clip or an optional Klick Fast stud mount. Before placing the unit in service, verify sensor calibration status and perform a bump test per the site safety program and applicable OSHA or CSA confined-space entry procedures. Do not attempt sensor replacement or service in a classified hazardous atmosphere.
