Product Description

The BURNDY BIBS600-3 is a multiple tap connector designed for joining aluminum and copper conductors in electrical distribution and splicing applications. It accepts conductor sizes from 4 AWG up to 600 KCMIL for both aluminum and copper, making it a wide-range, inventory-reducing option for electricians working on medium and large feeder runs. The body is constructed from AL6061-T6 aluminum covered in clear plastisol, which allows visual confirmation that conductors are fully seated before final torque. Oxide inhibitor comes pre-installed to block moisture and contaminants from the contact zone. Voltage rating is 600 volts with a temperature rating of 90 degrees C.

This connector is suited for commercial and industrial electrical installations where multiple conductors must be tapped from a single run without splicing kits or tape-wrapped connections. Installation Notes
