The BSC PREFERRED VEL178 is a hook-and-loop strap designed for bundling and organizing wires, cables, and cords. One side features a hook material and the other a loop material, allowing each strap to fasten securely to itself without clips, ties, or adhesives. These straps ship in a package of 100 units, making them a practical bulk supply for service vans, panel rooms, or job-site wire management tasks. Electricians, HVAC techs, and low-voltage installers commonly keep a supply on hand for routing and securing wire bundles during rough-in or finish work.
These hook-and-loop straps are suited for residential and light commercial applications where repeated bundling, re-routing, or labeling of wire and cable runs is required. Common use cases include electrical panel wire dressing, HVAC control-wiring organization, data cable management, and cord bundling in equipment rooms. Because the straps attach to themselves, they can be applied and removed without tools, which is useful during phased installations or system retrofits where wiring may be adjusted multiple times.
Designed as a general-purpose hook-and-loop bundling strap compatible with standard wire and cable management applications across electrical, HVAC, low-voltage, and general trade work.
No tools are required to apply or remove these straps. Electricians and HVAC technicians should de-energize circuits before dressing or re-routing any wire bundles. Straps should be applied after wiring is routed to its final position to avoid interfering with pull-through. Follow applicable NEC or local code requirements for wire support spacing and bundling in conduit or open installations.
