Bsc Preferred T9876969 Waterproof Adhesive Tape 24pk

Product Description

The BSC PREFERRED T9876969 is a waterproof adhesive tape designed for long-term performance in demanding environments. The backing conforms to rough and irregular surfaces, while the aggressive adhesive maintains a firm bond on most common substrates. The tape features tack-free edges and a writable surface, making it practical for labeling and job-site identification. It is built to resist wear, abrasion, moisture, and weathering over time. This product meets UL723, HUD, and BOCA code requirements, making it suitable for regulated construction and building applications. It is equivalent to part number S-3763SIL.

This tape is used in residential and commercial building, construction, and HVAC or mechanical insulation applications where a durable, code-compliant adhesive tape is required. The waterproof backing makes it well suited for areas exposed to moisture or outdoor conditions. The conformable backing allows it to adhere smoothly to uneven, textured, or rough surfaces commonly found on ductwork, insulation, pipe wrap, and building materials. This product is sold by the case in a quantity of 24 units per case.

Installation Notes

Application is typically performed by contractors, insulation installers, or HVAC technicians during new construction or retrofit work. Clean the substrate surface of dust, oil, and debris before applying to ensure maximum adhesion. Avoid applying in extreme cold conditions, as low temperatures can reduce initial tack. Follow all applicable local building codes and manufacturer guidelines for surface preparation and code-compliant installation.
