The BSC PREFERRED T966130C is a linerless, highly conformable, high-voltage insulating tape designed for primary electrical insulation in cable splicing applications. Rated for solid dielectric cables up to 69,000 volts, this tape uses an aggressive rubber-resin adhesive bonded to a self-fusing ethylene propylene backing. The result is a moisture-tight seal with void-free buildups around splices. Rated for service from 0 to 194 degrees F, it holds up in demanding field and underground conditions. Licensed electricians and utility linemen working on medium- and high-voltage cable systems rely on this tape as a core component of proper splice insulation.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician qualified for the voltage class being worked on.
