The BSC PREFERRED T963969 is a high-tack, pressure-sensitive adhesive tape designed for bonding, joining, mounting, and laminating a wide range of materials. The tape features a soft acrylic adhesive system with very high initial adhesion and good shear holding power. At 5 mils thick, it adheres reliably to difficult-to-bond surfaces including paper, plastics, metal, and foam. The densified kraft paper liner provides structural support during handling and application. This tape is reverse-wound on a 1-inch core and sold in cases of 72 rolls.
This tape is suited for light industrial, commercial, and maintenance applications where a reliable pressure-sensitive bond is needed without the use of tools or curing agents. Finger-touch application makes it practical for fast-paced work environments. The ideal application temperature range is 70 degrees F to 100 degrees F, making it appropriate for standard indoor conditions. It is commonly used by contractors, maintenance technicians, and facilities personnel for general assembly, mounting, and material lamination tasks.
This product is equivalent to part number S-6753. Designed for use with standard 1-inch core tape dispensers. Suitable for bonding most plastics, metals, paper, and foam substrates within the specified temperature range.
Surface should be clean, dry, and free of oils or loose particles before application. Apply firm finger pressure across the tape length to ensure full adhesive contact. Do not apply below 70 degrees F, as adhesion performance may be reduced on cold surfaces. Dispensers compatible with 1-inch core rolls are recommended for high-volume use.
