The BSC PREFERRED T914898112PK is a heavy-duty reinforced strapping tape designed for demanding packaging and shipping applications. It features a clear polypropylene backing reinforced with glass yarn filaments and bonded with a synthetic rubber adhesive. At 6.6 mil thick, the tape delivers long-term holding power on fiberboard surfaces, including recycled and printed cartons. The glass yarn reinforcement resists tearing and stretching under load, making it a reliable choice for bundling, palletizing, and sealing operations in warehouse, distribution, and fulfillment environments. This case pack contains 12 rolls.
This strapping tape is suited for both standard and heavy-duty carton sealing tasks where conventional tapes lack the tensile strength needed. It performs well on recycled fiberboard and printed carton surfaces that can challenge adhesive bonds. The synthetic rubber adhesive provides strong initial tack and maintains hold through abrasion and incidental moisture exposure during transit and storage. Packaging and shipping professionals, warehouse operators, and industrial supply users are the primary installers and end users of this product.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement-grade strapping tape suitable for general heavy-duty carton sealing and bundling applications on fiberboard and corrugated surfaces.
Apply to clean, dry surfaces free of dust, oil, or loose fibers for maximum adhesion. Ensure carton flaps are fully closed and aligned before applying tape across seams. No tools are required beyond a standard tape dispenser compatible with the roll core size. Store unused rolls away from direct heat and humidity to preserve adhesive performance.
