The BSC PREFERRED STC142 is a case of 100 multi-layer anti-static shielding bags engineered to protect ESD-sensitive electronic components during storage and transit. Each transparent bag is printed with the standard ESD warning symbol, giving technicians a clear visual cue during handling. The multi-layer construction guards against electrostatic discharge that can damage sensitive circuit boards, sensors, capacitors, and other components. Bags are heat sealable for a secure, tamper-evident closure. This product is intended for commercial use only and is not listed under the Defense Standardization Program Qualified Product List.
These shielding bags are suited for electronics service shops, HVAC control board handling, electrical supply houses, and any facility where ESD-sensitive parts are staged, stored, or shipped. A case contains 100 bags, making them practical for high-volume service operations that process multiple boards or components per day. Technicians use them to safely bag replacement control boards, sensors, and low-voltage electronics before and after installation.
Designed as a general-purpose ESD shielding bag suitable for storing and transporting ESD-sensitive electronic components and assemblies in commercial service environments. Equivalent to part number S-3426.
Handle ESD-sensitive components at a grounded, static-safe workstation before placing them into shielding bags. Seal bags using a heat sealer appropriate for multi-layer poly film. Store sealed bags away from heat sources that could compromise the seal or the bag material. Personnel handling ESD-sensitive parts should wear a grounded wrist strap in accordance with facility ESD control procedures.
