The BSC PREFERRED STC106 is a multi-layer ESD shielding bag designed to protect electrostatic discharge-sensitive electronic components during storage and transport. The transparent construction allows visual identification of contents without opening the bag, while the printed ESD warning symbol clearly marks the package as static-sensitive. Each bag is heat sealable, providing a secure closure that maintains shielding integrity. Intended for commercial applications, this product is not listed on the Qualified Products List under the Defense Standardization Program. Sold in a case quantity of 100 bags, the STC106 is an equivalent replacement for part number S-5886.
These shielding bags are suited for use in electronics repair, PCB handling, component storage, and field service environments where ESD control is required. HVAC technicians, electricians, and electronics repair shops handling control boards, capacitors, sensors, or other ESD-sensitive assemblies will find these bags appropriate for protecting parts during transit or bench storage. The transparent film allows quick identification of enclosed parts without compromising ESD protection.
Designed as a commercial-grade ESD shielding solution for general storage and transport of electrostatic discharge-sensitive electronic devices and components. Equivalent to part number S-5886.
Place ESD-sensitive components inside the bag in a static-controlled work area before sealing with a compatible heat sealer. Avoid opening bags outside of an ESD-protected environment. These bags are intended for commercial use only and are not approved for military or defense procurement under the Defense Standardization Program Qualified Products List.
