The BSC PREFERRED SPBW12 is an impulse-style bag sealer designed to create strong, wide seals on polyethylene and polypropylene film without any warm-up time. Because it operates on the impulse principle, the heating element activates only during the sealing cycle, making it ready to use immediately when powered on. It handles both single-layer bags and co-extruded multilayer bags, giving packaging operations flexibility across a range of film types. This unit is suited for light industrial, warehouse, and distribution environments where consistent, reliable bag closure is required on a regular basis.

The SPBW12 is used wherever polyethylene or polypropylene bags need to be sealed securely - including fulfillment centers, parts distribution, food-adjacent packaging lines, and general-purpose shipping operations. Its wide-seal capability makes it appropriate for larger bag openings or applications where seal strength across a broader surface is a priority. A compatible service kit, SPBW12KIT (sold separately), includes 2 heating elements and 2 PTFE glass cloth tape strips for field maintenance.
