The BSC PREFERRED SPBC12 is an impulse-style heat sealer designed to seal and clean-cut polyethylene and polypropylene bags and tubing in a single operation. The unit uses heated seal bars to create a secure closure when the operator presses the bag or tubing between them. A sliding cutter removes excess tubing immediately after the seal is formed, eliminating the need for a separate cutting step. The SPBC12 is suited for packaging operations in warehouses, distribution centers, light manufacturing facilities, and supply houses where consistent, repeatable poly bag sealing is part of daily workflow.

The SPBC12 works with both polyethylene and polypropylene bags and tubing, making it a versatile tool for general-purpose packaging tasks. It is well suited for sealing bulk poly tubing cut to length or pre-formed bags that need a finished closure. Service kits are available separately for this unit and contain 2 heating elements, 2 PTFE glass cloth tape strips, and 1 cutter, providing the replacement components needed to restore the sealer to full function after normal wear.

Installation Notes

Follow the manufacturer service kit instructions for element and tape replacement to avoid damage to the seal bar assembly.
