The BSC PREFERRED SPB20 is an impulse sealer designed for sealing polyethylene and polypropylene bags and tubing. Unlike heat sealers that require warm-up time, impulse sealers deliver a burst of heat only when the operator presses the seal bar, then instantly cool before release. This makes the SPB20 well suited for high-volume bagging operations where speed and consistency matter. An adjustable timer allows the operator to dial in the correct seal duration for a wide range of poly film thicknesses, producing clean, reliable seals across varying material gauges. The unit weighs 28 pounds and ships as a single unit.

The SPB20 is used in packaging and shipping environments where poly bags or lay-flat tubing need to be sealed quickly and repeatedly.
