The BSC PREFERRED SP4040DW is a double wall corrugated sheet designed for stacking and separating heavy items during storage and shipping. Manufactured from 275DW/ECT-48 kraft corrugated board, these sheets deliver two layers of fluted medium bonded between three linerboards, producing a rigid, load-bearing pad that handles significant compressive and lateral stress. Each sheet measures 40 inches by 40 inches and is sold in a pack of 5. Warehouse staff, shipping and receiving teams, and logistics professionals use them to layer product on pallets, protect goods from forklift tine contact, and maintain stack stability through transit.
These corrugated sheets are suited for industrial, commercial, and distribution center environments where heavy or bulky goods are palletized, layered, or floor-stacked. Common applications include slip sheeting between pallet layers, lining the interior base of large shipping containers, and providing a protective barrier against moisture and abrasion on warehouse floors. The 40-by-40-inch format covers a standard pallet footprint, making them a practical fit for full-pallet storage operations.
Designed as a general-purpose layer pad for standard pallet-based storage and shipping operations where a 40-by-40-inch corrugated separator is required.
No tools are required for placement. Position sheets horizontally between pallet layers or on the pallet deck before loading product. Ensure sheets lie flat and fully cover the intended surface area to maintain even weight distribution. Inspect sheets for damage before use, as crushed or torn corrugated loses a significant portion of its compressive strength.
