The BSC PREFERRED RTC42 is a reverse tuck folding carton designed for packaging small parts and components. Die-cut from 0.024 fibreboard, each carton features a pye-lock tuck closure that provides positive, secure locking without tape or glue. The lightweight construction keeps shipping costs low while the rigid fibreboard maintains package integrity during storage and transit. These cartons are sold in cases of 250 units, making them practical for shop, warehouse, or parts-counter environments where consistent, repeatable packaging is required. Trade operations packaging hardware, fittings, or other small components will find this format efficient for both manual and light-volume fulfillment workflows.
The RTC42 is suited for light industrial, trade supply, and distribution applications where small parts need a clean, enclosed carton rather than a poly bag or open tray. The reverse tuck style allows fast hand-assembly on the line. Typical use cases include packaging HVAC components, plumbing fittings, electrical connectors, or other small trade parts for point-of-sale display, kitting, or bulk shipment. Each case contains 250 individual cartons, providing a ready supply for moderate to high-volume packaging operations.
Designed as a general-purpose small-parts folding carton suitable for light industrial, trade supply, and distribution packaging applications.
No tools are required to assemble the RTC42 carton. Fold and lock the reverse tuck closure by hand, engaging the pye-lock tab fully before loading contents. Do not overload beyond the rated capacity of 0.024 fibreboard construction. Store flat and unassembled in a dry environment to maintain carton integrity until use.
