The BSC PREFERRED PS1232 is a polypropylene strapping roll used to bundle, secure, and unitize packages and freight for shipping or storage. Polypropylene strapping weighs roughly half as much as comparable steel strapping, reducing handling fatigue and overall shipment weight. The embossed surface adds flexibility, allowing the strap to conform to irregular load shapes without losing tensile integrity. This strapping is suited for warehouse staff, shipping departments, and trade contractors who need a dependable, lightweight bundling solution for tools, materials, or equipment pallets.
The PS1232 is designed for general-purpose packaging and shipping applications. It works with standard strapping tensioners, sealers, and dispensers common in warehouse and distribution environments. The weather-resistant polypropylene construction holds up in outdoor staging areas, loading docks, and storage yards. Split-resistant material helps deter pilferage by maintaining strap integrity during transit. Smooth, rounded edges eliminate the cut hazard associated with steel strapping, making it safer to handle during loading and unloading operations.
Designed for use with standard polypropylene strapping tensioners, hand tools, and sealer equipment common in packaging and shipping operations.
Apply using a compatible strapping tensioner and crimp or heat sealer following the tool manufacturer's recommended procedure. Inspect each strap joint before releasing tension to confirm a secure seal. Avoid over-tensioning on fragile loads, as polypropylene strapping can deform or cut into soft packaging materials under excessive force. Dispose of used strapping responsibly to prevent entanglement hazards in the work area.
