The BSC PREFERRED PL447 is a pressure-sensitive packing list envelope designed to secure and protect shipping documents attached to the outside of cartons, pallets, and freight packages. Constructed from heavy 2 Mil poly material, these envelopes provide reliable document protection against moisture and handling damage in transit. A hot melt adhesive backing delivers strong adhesion to both paper surfaces and corrugated fiberboard. Each envelope is pre-printed with specialty-use messages to communicate contents and handling instructions at a glance. These envelopes are sold in cases of 1000 units and are a direct equivalent to part number S-2634.
The PL447 packing list envelopes are used in warehouse, distribution center, and freight shipping environments where documents such as invoices, packing slips, customs forms, and shipping manifests must travel on the outside of a shipment. Envelopes open along the first dimension, allowing for easy document insertion before sealing. They are well suited for use on standard corrugated shipping boxes and heavier industrial packaging, and are a practical solution for high-volume shipping operations.
Designed as a direct equivalent to part number S-2634. Suitable for use on corrugated cartons, paper-wrapped parcels, and similar packaging surfaces where pressure-sensitive adhesion is required.
Clean and dry the application surface before adhering the envelope to ensure maximum bond strength. Press the envelope firmly across its full surface area to activate the hot melt adhesive. Insert documents before peeling the liner and applying to the shipment. Avoid applying to wet, oily, or textured surfaces that may reduce adhesion.
