The BSC PREFERRED G26061 is a waterproof vinyl tag designed for wet or damp environments where standard paper or cardboard tags fail. Each tag features a metal eyelet for secure attachment and is built to hold up under rough indoor and outdoor conditions. These tags are sold in cases of 100, making them practical for facilities, maintenance crews, and safety personnel who need a reliable tagging solution in volume. Accessories sold separately include a 12-inch cotton string (G2501) and 12-inch wire (G2500) for attachment options suited to different applications.
These tags are well suited for industrial, commercial, and institutional settings where equipment lockout, hazard identification, or asset labeling is required in wet or corrosive environments. Typical applications include plumbing systems, HVAC equipment, outdoor mechanical areas, pool equipment rooms, and any location where moisture, humidity, or weather exposure would degrade a standard tag. Safety professionals, facilities managers, and maintenance technicians commonly use these tags as part of lockout/tagout (LOTO) programs or general equipment identification workflows.
Designed as a direct equivalent to part number S-10749G. Compatible with G2501 12-inch cotton string and G2500 12-inch wire attachment accessories. Suitable for general tagging applications across safety, identification, and hazard communication programs in wet or outdoor environments.
Tags are applied by maintenance technicians, safety coordinators, or facilities personnel - no specialized tools are required. When used in lockout/tagout programs, follow OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 procedures and ensure the energy source is fully isolated before attaching tags to equipment. Select the appropriate attachment method - cotton string for light-duty or indoor use, wire for heavier or outdoor applications. Do not use these tags as the sole means of energy isolation; they are identification and warning devices only.
