The BSC PREFERRED DIB765893 is a green-coated exterior wood screw designed for deck construction, fencing, siding, and general outdoor fastening applications. The 6-lobed star drive head delivers fast bit engagement and improved torque control compared to standard Phillips or square drives. A countersinking bugle head seats flush with the work surface without head pop-out, leaving a clean finish. The screw features an extra coarse thread and a Type 17 auger point for self-starting penetration into dimensional lumber without pre-drilling. The PrimeGuard Plus proprietary polymer coating provides corrosion resistance suited to outdoor and pressure-treated lumber environments.
