The BSC PREFERRED D25215 is a yellow thread sealant compound designed for use on threaded pipe joints carrying LP gas, natural gas, or liquid media. Supplied in a 4 oz container with an angle-mounted brush integrated into the cap, the D25215 allows for direct, controlled application without additional tools. The compound never fully hardens, which keeps joints separable for future service without damage to fittings. It is rated to withstand gas pressure up to 3000 psi and liquid pressure up to 6000 psi. Plumbers, gas fitters, and HVAC technicians use this sealant as a standard part of threaded connection work on both gas and liquid piping systems.

This sealant is suited for residential and light commercial applications where threaded pipe connections carry LP or natural gas, as well as pressurized liquid lines.
