The BSC PREFERRED CTUV750 is a UV-stabilized black nylon cable tie designed for permanent bundling and securing of cords, cables, bags, and similar materials in outdoor or high-UV environments. The black colorant is integrated into the nylon compound to resist UV degradation, maintaining tensile strength and flexibility through continuous sun exposure. Each tie features a one-way locking mechanism that cinches tight and resists tampering or accidental release. HVAC, electrical, and general trade contractors rely on this type of fastener for outdoor equipment tie-downs, conduit bundling, and securing protective covers where long-term UV exposure would degrade standard nylon ties.
These cable ties are suited for residential and commercial applications where fasteners will be subjected to prolonged outdoor conditions, including rooftop HVAC installations, exterior electrical conduit runs, landscaping, and utility enclosures. The UV stabilization makes them appropriate for any install scenario where standard non-UV ties would become brittle and fail over time. Sold in a case quantity of 1000, they are well-suited for contractors who go through high volumes on larger jobs or service routes.
This product is listed as equivalent to part number S-14932. Designed as a general-purpose UV-resistant cable tie for outdoor electrical, HVAC, and utility bundling applications.
Cable ties of this type are typically installed by electricians, HVAC technicians, or general contractors during rough-in or finish stages of exterior work. No special tools are required, though a cable tie tensioning and cut-off tool is recommended for consistent cinch tension and flush trimming. Once locked, these ties are not designed to be released or reused - cut and replace if adjustment is needed. Follow applicable NEC or local code guidelines when using cable ties to bundle or secure electrical conductors.
