The BSC PREFERRED CTUV36175 is a pack of 100 black, UV-stabilized nylon cable ties engineered for permanent fastening in outdoor and high-UV environments. These ties are rated for continuous or extended exposure to sunlight and weather, making them a practical choice wherever standard ties would degrade and fail. The black colorant acts as an additional UV stabilizer, extending service life compared to natural nylon. Each tie features a tamper-proof locking mechanism that cinches tight and resists release once secured. Electricians, contractors, and field technicians use them to bundle wire harnesses, secure conduit runs, fasten bags, and organize cables in exposed installations.
These cable ties are suited for both residential and commercial applications where outdoor durability is required. Common install scenarios include rooftop electrical and HVAC cable management, exterior lighting runs, fence and signage mounting, and securing protective covers or bags in outdoor storage areas. Sold in a case quantity of 100 ties, making them appropriate for job-site stocking. This product is equivalent to part number S-7744.
Designed as a direct equivalent to part number S-7744. Suitable for general-purpose outdoor cable and cord management applications across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and construction trades.
No special tools are required for installation, though cable tie tensioning tools are recommended for consistent cinch force on high-volume runs. Ensure the tie is fully seated in the locking head before trimming the tail flush. Once locked, these ties are tamper-proof and must be cut to remove. Dispose of trimmed tails properly to avoid jobsite FOD hazards.
