The BSC PREFERRED CP88 is a chipboard pad designed for use as an envelope stiffener and protective layer in packaging and shipping applications. Constructed from sturdy kraft fiberboard made from recycled paper, these pads provide a rigid barrier that resists flex and helps maintain the shape of envelopes, mailers, and flat shipments. Each case contains 675 individual pads. The CP88 is a direct equivalent replacement for part number S-19751. Warehouse staff, shipping departments, and fulfillment operations rely on these pads to reduce damage during transit and handling.
The CP88 chipboard pads are well suited for light industrial and commercial shipping environments. They serve as top-layer inserts inside cartons to protect contents from box cutters and knives during receiving and unpacking. They also function as envelope stiffeners for documents, photos, and flat goods that require rigid support during mailing. Sold by the case at 675 pads per unit of measure, the CP88 is a practical stock item for high-volume packing lines and mailrooms.
The CP88 is a direct equivalent to part number S-19751. Designed as a standard chipboard pad for use in general packaging, shipping, and mailroom applications requiring envelope stiffening or carton top-layer protection.
No tools or trade licensing are required for use. When using as a carton top layer, place the pad flat against the top surface of packed contents before sealing to create a barrier against cutting implements during opening. When using as an envelope stiffener, insert the pad alongside the contents before sealing the mailer. Store flat in a dry location to prevent warping or moisture absorption.
