The BSC PREFERRED 7079878055 is a white silicone-latex blend caulk designed for long-term joint sealing in residential and light commercial applications. Formulated to last 35 years or more, it combines silicone for improved adhesion and water resistance with a latex base that allows cleanup with water and accepts latex or oil-base paint within 2 hours of application. The sealant dries tack-free in 30 minutes. It handles expansion, contraction, and joint movement without cracking, making it a dependable option for gaps and seams that experience thermal cycling. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general contractors install this product as part of routine finishing and weatherproofing work.

This caulk is suited for interior and exterior sealing tasks where a paintable, flexible joint compound is needed.
