Bsc Preferred 700533 Blue Medium Duty Tarp 9x12 Ft

Product Description

The BSC PREFERRED 700533 is a medium duty blue polyethylene tarp measuring 9 feet by 12 feet, built for general-purpose covering and protection tasks across jobsites, utility trailers, and storage applications. Constructed from polyethylene with a 10 x 8 weave pattern and lamination applied to both sides, the tarp resists moisture penetration and holds up under repeated use. A polypropylene rope is heat sealed into the peripheral hem to reinforce the border and resist pullout stress at anchor points. Durable polycarbonate grommets are installed every 3 feet around the full perimeter, giving installers and tradespeople consistent tie-down points without hunting for a corner. The material is UV-treated to slow degradation from sun exposure.

This tarp is suited for residential and light commercial jobsite use. Common applications include covering HVAC equipment during rough-in work, protecting stored pipe and fittings from weather, draping over pallets, or serving as a temporary ground cover during outdoor service calls. At 2.175 pounds, it is light enough to keep in a service van without adding significant load. The medium duty rating makes it appropriate for short- to medium-term outdoor covering rather than permanent installation.

Installation Notes

No special tools are required to deploy this tarp. Secure through the perimeter grommets using bungee cords, rope, or ratchet straps appropriate for the load and wind conditions at the site. Inspect grommet points for wear before each use, particularly in high-wind environments. Avoid using sharp fasteners or staples through the field of the tarp, as punctures compromise weatherproofing.
