The BSC PREFERRED 24173 is a shallow-depth corrugated shipping carton built for flat or low-profile items that standard-depth boxes handle poorly. Manufactured from 200/ECT-32 kraft corrugated board, these cartons offer reliable compression strength and puncture resistance appropriate for transit through standard parcel and freight networks. Each carton ships flat, reducing storage footprint on the shelf or in a van. They are sold in packs of 25, making them well-suited for operations that ship moderate volumes of shallow goods on a recurring basis.
These cartons are designed for apparel, books, picture frames, artwork, mirrors, and similar low-profile merchandise. The 200/ECT-32 wall construction meets common carrier minimum requirements for single-wall corrugated cartons, making them appropriate for retail fulfillment operations, warehouse shipping departments, and professional packaging applications. The flat-ship format means the pack arrives without pre-assembled bulk, keeping staging areas manageable.
Equivalent to part number S-16762. Designed as a direct replacement or alternative for shallow corrugated carton applications wherever 200/ECT-32 single-wall kraft construction is specified.
Assembly requires no tools; cartons are erected by hand from the flat-pack configuration. Apply pressure-sensitive or water-activated tape to all bottom seams before loading to maintain carton integrity in transit. Follow carrier guidelines for maximum gross weight per carton when selecting fill material and closure method. Store flat in a dry environment to preserve board strength prior to use.
