The BSC PREFERRED 16166 is a shallow-depth corrugated shipping carton designed for flat or low-profile items that require secure, damage-resistant packaging. Manufactured from 200/ECT-32 kraft corrugated material, these cartons deliver reliable stacking strength and puncture resistance for transit. Each carton ships flat, reducing storage footprint on the shelf or in the stockroom. The 16166 is sold in packs of 25, making it practical for operations that move steady volume of similarly sized goods. This part is equivalent to part number S-4536.
These cartons are well suited for packaging and shipping operations handling apparel, books, picture frames, artwork, mirrors, and clothing. The reduced depth profile minimizes wasted void space around shallow products, which helps reduce the need for excess fill material. Typical applications include e-commerce fulfillment centers, retail back-of-house shipping stations, print and frame shops, and general warehouse outbound operations. The flat-ship bundle format is practical for any facility managing storage space carefully.
Designed as a direct equivalent to part number S-4536. Suitable for general corrugated carton applications involving shallow or flat products such as apparel, books, picture frames, artwork, mirrors, and similar items.
No tools or trade licensing are required to assemble standard corrugated cartons. Erect cartons on a clean, flat surface and seal bottom seams with appropriate pressure-sensitive or water-activated tape before loading. Store flat-packed cartons in a dry location away from moisture, which can compromise corrugated board integrity. Do not exceed the rated box compression load when stacking filled cartons.
