The BRYANT RCD103W is a standard rocker-style combination switch rated for 15 amps and 120 to 277 volts AC. It integrates a single-pole rocker and a three-way rocker into a single-gang form factor, measuring 1.32 inches wide by 1 inch deep by 4.2 inches tall. The low-profile housing sits less than 1 inch deep, keeping it flush with standard wallplates in retrofit and new-construction wiring applications. The base is plastic with a white finish. A self-grounding feature is built in as standard. Licensed electricians install this device in residential branch-circuit wiring where two switching functions are needed at one location.
The RCD103W is suited for residential wiring applications where wall space is limited and a single-gang box must carry more than one switching function. The voltage range of 120 to 277 VAC makes it compatible with both standard 120-volt household circuits and 277-volt lighting branch circuits found in some residential service configurations. Side wiring terminals accept standard solid or stranded branch-circuit conductors. The smooth rocker action and consistent switch feel make it a practical choice for finish-out work in new residential construction or panel-for-panel device replacement.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation combination switch for residential single-gang wiring applications requiring single-pole and three-way switching functions in one device.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit at the breaker and verify absence of voltage with a meter before removing or connecting any wiring. Use side wiring terminals as intended and do not exceed the 15-amp current rating of the device. Confirm box fill calculations comply with NEC requirements when combining this device with other conductors in the same single-gang enclosure.
