The Bravo BRV-MP24AHUW-230VI is a 24,000 BTU/h multi-position indoor air handler designed for single-zone ducted heat pump systems. It pairs with the BRV-SD24HI-230VO outdoor condensing unit to form a complete inverter-driven heat pump system using R32 refrigerant. The unit operates on 208-230V single-phase, 60 Hz power and delivers both cooling and heating capacity suited for mid-sized residential spaces. Its multi-position design allows horizontal or vertical installation to fit a range of ductwork configurations. Side discharge airflow accommodates tight mechanical room layouts where straight-through discharge is not practical. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation and commissioning of this system.
The BRV-MP24AHUW-230VI is intended for residential single-zone applications where a central air handler is preferred over a wall-mounted ductless head. It serves as the indoor half of the Bravo 24,000 BTU multi-position heat pump system, providing year-round heating and cooling through a ducted distribution system. Typical installations include single-family homes, additions, and spaces requiring conditioned airflow delivered through existing or new duct runs rather than a direct-mount indoor unit.
The BRV-MP24AHUW-230VI is the indoor air handler component of the Bravo 24,000 BTU single-zone heat pump system and is matched with the BRV-SD24HI-230VO outdoor unit. It is not designed for use with outdoor units outside its matched system pairing.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding an EPA 608 certification for R32 refrigerant handling. De-energize all circuits and confirm the disconnect is locked out before beginning any wiring or refrigerant connections. Ductwork connections and refrigerant line sets must be sized and sealed per manufacturer guidelines and local mechanical codes. Do not operate the system without verifying refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and condensate drain continuity.
