The Bravo BRV-M12FC-230VI is a 12,000 BTU/h universal floor/ceiling (UFC) indoor unit designed for ductless mini split heat pump systems operating on 208-230V, single phase, 60Hz power. Built as part of the Milano series, this unit mounts low on the wall (floor-level) or overhead at the ceiling, making it adaptable to room configurations where standard wall-mount units are not practical. The unit supports both cooling and heating at 12,000 BTU/h rated capacity and is compatible with R32 refrigerant. Inverter-driven compressor technology on the paired outdoor unit allows variable-speed operation for efficient capacity modulation. A minimum circuit ampacity (MCA) of 5 amps applies to the indoor unit. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation.
The BRV-M12FC-230VI is suited for residential and light commercial multi-zone ductless systems. Its universal cabinet design allows low-wall or ceiling mounting to address spaces such as sunrooms, server rooms, open-plan areas, or rooms without suitable wall space for a conventional high-wall unit. This indoor unit has been paired in documented multi-zone configurations including 2-zone, 3-zone, and 4-zone systems alongside compatible Bravo Milano outdoor units. Noise output is rated at 39 dB(A), keeping operational sound low in occupied spaces.
The BRV-M12FC-230VI is a Milano series indoor unit confirmed for use in multi-zone configurations paired with compatible Bravo Milano outdoor units, including documented pairings with BRV-M30-230VO in 3-zone (9K, 12K, 18K) and 4-zone (9K, 9K, 12K, 12K) system builds, as well as 4-zone configurations including BRV-M09FC-230VI and BRV-M24FC-230VI indoor units.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the NEC. Shut off all electrical power to the system at the disconnect before mounting the indoor unit, running line sets, or making low-voltage control wiring connections. The UFC cabinet requires secure wall or ceiling structural anchoring rated for the unit weight; verify framing or blocking before mounting. Do not operate the system until refrigerant line sets are properly connected, leak-tested, and the system is evacuated to the manufacturer-specified vacuum level.
