The Brasscraft PSSD-43 is a steel male gas fitting that adapts a 1/2 inch outer diameter flare gas connector to a 1/2 inch MIP appliance inlet, gas ball valve, or gas supply stub out. It is manufactured from solid bar stock and is intended for use with common gas appliances such as stoves, water heaters, and dryers, and includes a tapped 3/8 inch female thread for accessory connections.
