The BRASSCRAFT G2BRPX09X C is a quarter-turn angle stop valve designed for potable water distribution systems. It features a 1/2-inch nominal crimp barb inlet and a 1/4-inch OD compression outlet, machined from a single piece of brass for lasting durability. The one-piece quarter-turn shut-off mechanism delivers smooth, reliable on/off operation. A chrome finish gives it a clean appearance suited for residential rough-in and finish plumbing work. Licensed plumbers and experienced DIYers install this valve at fixture supply connections where a compact, low-profile stop is required.
This angle stop is intended for indoor potable water distribution systems. It is not rated for recirculating water systems that sustain continuous use temperatures above 115 degrees F. For those higher-temperature recirculating applications, a KT series ball stop should be used instead. The valve is compatible with PEX tubing and is a practical choice for toilet, faucet, or similar fixture supply shut-off points in residential construction and remodel work.
Compatible with PEX tubing at the crimp barb inlet. Designed for use in indoor potable water distribution systems. Not intended for recirculating systems with continuous operating temperatures above 115 degrees F.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the main water supply and relieve system pressure before beginning work. Use a properly sized PEX crimp tool and the correct crimp rings for the 1/2-inch nominal barb connection. The handle can be removed during rough-in to prevent accidental operation until the finish work is complete.
