The BRAMEC 7517 is a 3/4-inch EMT compression coupling used to join two sections of electrical metallic tubing in conduit runs. Compression-style couplings create a secure, raintight mechanical connection without set screws, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor conduit installations. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting as part of branch-circuit and feeder conduit systems in residential, commercial, and light industrial applications. The 7517 is a standard trade-size fitting that meets common conduit assembly requirements where a reliable, code-compliant mechanical joint is needed.
This coupling is used in EMT conduit systems where a secure fitting is required between two conduit ends. It is appropriate for dry, damp, and wet locations depending on listing and installation conditions. Typical applications include panel feeders, junction box connections, and general conduit routing in new construction and retrofit electrical work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for 3/4-inch EMT conduit systems.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for conduit fittings. Ensure conduit ends are cut clean and reamed before seating into the coupling. Hand-tighten the compression nut and finish with a wrench to the fitting manufacturer's recommended snug-tight standard. Always de-energize circuits in the area before working on conduit assemblies.
