Box Packaging Inc T96244025 Carpet Protection Tape 24in 300ft

Product Description

The BOX PACKAGING INC T96244025 is a temporary carpet protection tape designed to shield carpet surfaces during moving, renovation, and construction work. The tape is built from a durable polyolefin film with a water-based acrylic adhesive that bonds securely to carpet fibers without leaving residue behind. At 24 inches wide and 300 feet long, each roll covers substantial floor area in a single pass. The film thickness is 3 mil, giving it enough body to resist foot traffic and light equipment movement while remaining flexible enough to lie flat without lifting at the edges. It is rated for indoor use only.

This tape is suited for residential and light commercial applications where carpet must be protected during short-term work. Common scenarios include furniture moves, flooring installations in adjacent rooms, painting and drywall projects, and general contractor staging areas. The wide 24-inch format reduces the number of overlapping runs needed to cover hallways and open floor areas. Because it removes cleanly without tearing or splintering, it is appropriate for use on both loop and cut-pile carpet in occupied buildings where residue or damage cannot be tolerated.

Installation Notes

Apply to clean, dry carpet in the direction of foot traffic for best adhesion and edge stability. No tools are required beyond a utility knife or scissors for trimming.
