Bose Professional 768941-0210 70V Volume Control

Product Description

The BOSE PROFESSIONAL 768941-0210 is a 70-volt in-wall volume control designed for commercial and professional audio distribution systems. Known as the ControlCenter CC-3, this unit allows localized volume adjustment at the listening zone without requiring a separate amplifier tap or complex wiring changes at the head end. It ships in a white finish for clean integration into standard wall plates and junction boxes. Audio integrators, low-voltage contractors, and commercial AV installers are the primary trades that specify and install this control in distributed sound applications.

This volume control is suited for 70-volt distributed audio systems found in commercial environments such as restaurants, retail spaces, offices, houses of worship, and light industrial facilities. It mounts in a standard single-gang wall box and provides a convenient local volume adjustment point for individual zones in a larger multi-zone audio layout. The white finish is appropriate for installations where the control must blend with standard commercial wall hardware.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage contractor or qualified AV systems integrator familiar with 70-volt audio distribution wiring practices. De-energize the amplifier and mute or power down the audio source before making any wiring connections. Follow NEC Article 725 guidelines for Class 2 and Class 3 low-voltage wiring as applicable to the installation. Confirm that the impedance load across all zones remains within the amplifier manufacturer's rated output capacity before commissioning the system.
