Bose Professional 768932-0210 CC-1 Volume Control

Product Description

The BOSE PROFESSIONAL 768932-0210 is the Control Center CC-1, a 70-volt volume control designed for distributed audio systems. It provides local level adjustment at the listener zone without requiring additional amplification or complex wiring at the control point. The CC-1 is finished in white, making it suitable for flush or surface mounting in commercial and institutional spaces where a clean, unobtrusive appearance is required. Audio installers and low-voltage contractors typically specify this unit for paging, background music, and sound reinforcement applications on 70V constant-voltage speaker lines.

The Control Center CC-1 is used in commercial distributed audio installations including retail environments, offices, schools, houses of worship, and hospitality venues. It operates on 70-volt audio systems, which are standard in multi-zone commercial sound applications. Installation typically follows the speaker line in series, allowing zone-level attenuation at the point of use. This control is sold as a single unit.

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or audio contractor familiar with 70-volt distributed audio system wiring. Disconnect and de-energize the amplifier and speaker circuit before making any connections at the control point. Follow applicable local electrical codes and the system designer's zone layout when placing volume controls in series on the 70V speaker line. Verify total tap load does not exceed the amplifier's rated output capacity after installation.
