The ROBERT BOSCH TOOL GROUP T101BR is a reverse-tooth T-shank jigsaw blade designed to produce splinter-free cuts on the top face of the workpiece. Made from high carbide steel, this blade runs at 10 teeth per inch (TPI) on a 4-inch cutting length. It is packaged in a 5-pack, making it a practical stock-up choice for contractors, finish carpenters, and remodeling crews who regularly cut sheet goods and dimensional lumber. The reverse-tooth geometry pulls downward during the cut, keeping the visible face of the material clean and eliminating the tear-out common with standard upcut blades.
The T101BR is suited for residential and light commercial finish work where surface quality matters. It performs on laminated particleboard, OSB, plywood, hardwood, softwood, and plastics. Typical applications include cabinet installation, flooring work, countertop trimming, and general sheet goods cutting. The T-shank interface is the industry-standard quick-change fitting compatible with the vast majority of modern jigsaw platforms, making this blade a go-to option across multi-brand tool inventories.
The T101BR uses a T-shank (tang shank) interface, which is compatible with the large majority of current-production jigsaws accepting the universal T-shank standard. Suitable materials include laminated particleboard, OSB, plywood, hard and soft woods, and plastics.
T-shank jigsaw blades are installed and removed by a licensed or journeyman carpenter or general tradesperson using the jigsaw's built-in tool-free blade clamp. Always power down and unplug or remove the battery from the jigsaw before changing blades. Confirm the blade is fully seated and the clamp mechanism is locked before resuming operation. Wear appropriate eye and hand protection when handling used blades, as carbide teeth retain sharp edges after use.
