The BOSCH 8733980504 is a multi-zone ductless mini-split kit rated at 27000 BTU/h total cooling and heating capacity. The kit includes one 9000 BTU/h indoor unit, one 18000 BTU/h indoor unit, and one outdoor condensing unit, providing a complete two-zone climate control solution. Licensed HVAC technicians install this system in residential and light commercial applications where independent zone control is required without ductwork. The kit ships as a matched component set, ensuring factory-verified refrigerant circuit compatibility across all three units.
This two-zone mini-split kit is suited for residential installations where separate rooms or areas require independent temperature control. Typical applications include additions, conditioned spaces without existing ductwork, and multi-room retrofits. The 9000 BTU/h indoor unit addresses smaller spaces such as bedrooms or offices, while the 18000 BTU/h indoor unit handles larger living areas. All three components are matched at the factory as part of the MAX series multi-zone platform.
This kit is a factory-assembled multi-zone set within the BOSCH MAX series platform. Component part numbers included are IDU 8733962672 (9000 BTU/h), IDU 8733962674 (18000 BTU/h), and ODU 8733962700. No line set is included with this kit.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding an EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant handling. Power to all circuits must be disconnected and locked out before any wiring or refrigerant line connections are made. Line sets, electrical whips, and disconnect boxes are not included and must be sourced separately to complete the installation. Follow local mechanical and electrical codes, including NEC requirements for dedicated disconnect means and minimum circuit ampacity for each unit.
