The BOSCH 8733980477 is a multi-zone ductless mini split system rated at 36,000 BTU/h, configured for three-zone cooling and heating in residential or light commercial applications. This kit bundles the outdoor condensing unit with three indoor air handlers — one 24,000 BTU/h unit and two 6,000 BTU/h units — allowing independent temperature control in up to three separate spaces from a single outdoor unit. Licensed HVAC technicians install and commission this system. The kit ships as a complete matched assembly with verified indoor and outdoor unit pairings.
This system is suited for multi-room residential installations, small commercial suites, or additions where extending existing ductwork is not practical. The three-zone configuration supports one larger primary zone alongside two smaller secondary zones, making it a common choice for open-concept main areas combined with bedrooms or offices. No line set is included with this kit, so refrigerant line sets must be sourced separately to match the run lengths required by the installation.
This kit is a factory-matched multi-zone mini split assembly. Included components are IDU 8733962675 (x1), IDU 8733962676 (x2), and ODU 8733962697 (x1). Components in this kit are matched and should not be substituted with units outside this assembly without verifying system compatibility with BOSCH technical documentation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant handling. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before beginning any wiring or mechanical connections. Line sets are not included and must be field-supplied and sized according to the manufacturer specifications and local mechanical codes. Follow all local building codes and manufacturer startup procedures before commissioning the system.
