The BONEHAM SFT366IR is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision during drilling, reaming, and boring operations. Classified under industry code SF, this head-type bushing features an inside diameter of 0.323 inches (Letter P) with a tight tolerance of +0.0001 to +0.0005 inches, a body outside diameter of 0.5625 inches, and a length under head of 0.375 inches. Constructed from steel, it is built to withstand the wear and heat generated in repetitive production drilling. The SFT366IR is a renewable bushing, meaning it can be removed and replaced without disturbing the jig plate. It is compatible with LS-TW-2 lock screws for secure retention during use.
This bushing is used in drill jig fixtures across metalworking, machining, and fabrication environments. It seats into a jig liner and is held in place by a lock screw during the drilling operation, then removed when the operation is complete. Typical applications include production machining on CNC setups, manual drill presses, and fixture-guided hand drilling where consistent hole location is critical. The head outside diameter measures 0.875 inches with a head height of 0.25 inches, providing a stable seating surface against the jig plate face.
Designed for use with LS-TW-2 compatible lock screws in standard slip-fixed drill jig liner setups. This bushing follows SF industry code standards for slip-fixed head-type bushings.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolroom technicians setting up drill jig fixtures. Ensure the jig liner bore and mating surfaces are clean and free of chips before seating the bushing. The lock screw must be engaged before beginning any drilling operation to prevent bushing rotation or ejection. Remove the bushing only after the cutting tool has been fully withdrawn from the workpiece.
