The BONEHAM SF325GB is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed for use in jig and fixture applications where precise hole location and repeatable accuracy are required. Built to industry code SF, this bushing features a 0.199 inch inside diameter, a 0.500 inch body outside diameter, and a 5/16 inch length under the head. Constructed from hardened steel with a hardness rating of 60 to 65 HRC, it delivers the wear resistance needed for production drilling operations. It is compatible with the LS-1 lock screw and meets ANSI standards. Machinists, toolmakers, and fixture builders typically install this component.
This bushing is suited for use in drill jigs and precision fixturing in both production and maintenance machining environments. The slip-fixed design allows the bushing to be installed and locked in a liner bushing using a lock screw, making it appropriate for operations that require a fixed guide during the drilling cycle. The headed design aids in axial positioning and resistance to thrust loads during use.
Designed for use with LS-1 lock screws in standard liner bushings conforming to ANSI slip-fixed bushing specifications. Not counterbored.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolmakers fitting the bushing into a compatible liner bushing and securing it with an LS-1 lock screw. Ensure the liner bushing bore and the fixture plate are clean and free of chips before seating the bushing. Do not press or hammer the bushing in a way that damages the hardened bore. Verify inside diameter tolerance is within specification before use to ensure accurate drill guidance.
