The BONEHAM PT246GH is a press fit headless drill bushing designed to guide drill bits and cutting tools with precision in metal fabrication and machining applications. This bushing carries an industry code of P and features a 0.2055-inch inside diameter (wire size number 5) with a 3/8-inch outside diameter and a 3/8-inch overall length. Manufactured from steel hardened to 60 to 65 HRC, it delivers the wear resistance needed for accurate, repeatable hole location across production runs. The inside diameter is held to a tight tolerance of plus 0.0001 to plus 0.0004 inches, keeping drill wander to a minimum. Machinists and tooling technicians install this bushing as a fixed, non-renewable guide in drill jigs and fixtures.
This bushing is suited for use in drill jig plates and tooling fixtures across general metalworking, maintenance shops, and precision machining environments.
