The BONEHAM AM00001101 is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed for precision jig and fixture applications in metalworking and machining operations. It features a 9.1 mm inside diameter with a tight tolerance of +0.005 to +0.014 mm, a 15 mm body outside diameter, and a 36 mm length under the head, providing stable guidance for drill bits, reamers, and other cutting tools. The head outside diameter measures 26 mm with an 8 mm head height. Constructed from steel hardened to 60 to 65 HRC, this bushing delivers long service life under repeated tooling cycles. Machinists and toolmakers install this component when building or maintaining drill jigs that require renewable, replaceable bushings.
This bushing is suited for production drilling setups in both shop and manufacturing environments where hole-location accuracy is critical. The slip-fixed installation method allows the bushing to be seated and locked in a liner bushing without permanent press-fitting, making it practical for fixtures that see frequent tool changes or require periodic bushing replacement. Its counterbored design and ANSI compliance make it a standard choice for jig plate applications across general machining, aerospace tooling, and industrial fabrication work.
Designed as an ANSI-compliant slip-fixed renewable drill bushing for use in standard liner bushings installed in drill jig plates. Compatible with SF and SFM industry bushing codes as defined by ANSI standards.
Installation is typically performed by machinists or toolmakers during jig assembly or bushing replacement. Power down and secure any associated machinery before servicing a drill fixture. The bushing is inserted into a mating liner bushing and locked in place using the appropriate locking mechanism for the SF or SFM configuration. Do not force the bushing into the liner with a hammer; use proper hand-press or arbor-press procedures to avoid damaging the tolerance bore.
