The BONEHAM AM00001069 is a slip-fixed renewable drill bushing designed for precision tooling applications in jig and fixture setups. Built to SF and SFM industry codes, this bushing features an 8.2 mm inside diameter with a tight tolerance of +0.005 to +0.014 mm, a 15 mm body outside diameter, and a 16 mm length under head. Constructed from hardened steel with a Rockwell hardness of 60 to 65 HRC, it delivers consistent hole location accuracy under repeated drilling, reaming, or boring cycles. It is counterbored to accept a liner bushing, making it a renewable component in high-cycle production fixtures.
This bushing is suited for use in drill jigs and precision fixtures across manufacturing, machining, and fabrication environments. The slip-fixed design allows the bushing to be installed and removed without permanent press-fitting, which is useful in production scenarios where the bushing must be replaced at regular intervals while the liner remains in the jig plate. The head outside diameter measures 26 mm with a head height of 8 mm. It is appropriate for tool rooms, production machining cells, and general metalworking fixture builds requiring ANSI-conforming components.
Designed as an OEM-style renewable slip-fixed drill bushing conforming to ANSI SF and SFM standards, compatible with standard liner bushings sized for a 15 mm body outside diameter.
Installation is performed by machinists or tool and die professionals during jig and fixture assembly or maintenance. The slip-fixed bushing is inserted into a press-fit liner bushing already seated in the jig plate and is locked in place by rotating to engage the locking mechanism — do not force or hammer the bushing into a liner with a mismatched bore. Ensure the jig plate and associated tooling are secured and the machine is at a full stop before replacing the bushing. Follow ANSI B94.33 jig bushing standards and shop-specific fixture maintenance procedures.
