The BONEHAM AM00000779 is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed for precision jig and fixture applications in metalworking and machining environments. Built to SF and SFM industry standards, this bushing features a 10 mm inside diameter with a close tolerance of +0.005 to +0.014 mm, a 15 mm body outside diameter, and a 16 mm length under the head. The head outside diameter measures 26 mm with an 8 mm head height. Constructed from steel hardened to 60 to 65 HRC, it delivers the wear resistance required for repetitive drilling operations. Machinists and toolmakers install this part when setting up drill jigs that require a renewable, removable bushing without a locking mechanism.
This slip-fixed bushing is suited for use in drill jig plates across precision machining, tool-and-die, and production manufacturing settings. The counterbored design allows the bushing to seat flush within a jig body, and the renewable construction means the bushing can be replaced in-place without reworking the fixture. It is appropriate for both light production runs and high-volume drilling operations where consistent hole location and repeatability are required. The slip-fixed style allows quick changeout between different bushing sizes for the same jig location.
Designed as an ANSI-standard SF and SFM slip-fixed renewable drill bushing for use in drill jig fixtures requiring a 15 mm body outside diameter installation hole.
Installation is typically performed by a machinist or toolmaker during jig assembly or bushing replacement. Verify that the jig plate counterbore diameter and depth match the body outside diameter and head dimensions before pressing or sliding the bushing into position. Remove all chips and debris from the bushing liner before seating to prevent galling. Follow applicable shop safety procedures and power down any associated machine spindle before servicing the jig fixture.
