The BONDHUS 12164 is a 5mm long-arm hex L-wrench designed for fastener-driving in confined and open work areas alike. Built with a ProGuard finish, the tool resists corrosion and wear through repeated job-site use. At 119mm in length, the long-arm configuration gives the technician increased torque leverage on stubborn fasteners. The wrench is suited for HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, and general mechanical trades who routinely work with metric hex fasteners in equipment panels, fan assemblies, and access covers. Weighing 0.07 pounds, it is a lightweight addition to any service kit.
This wrench is used wherever 5mm metric hex-socket fasteners appear in residential and light commercial equipment. Common applications include tightening or removing set screws on blower wheels, motor mounts, valve stems, and electrical panel components. The long-arm design is particularly useful when clearance is limited or when additional torque is needed to break loose seized fasteners without a separate extension tool.
Designed as a standard 5mm metric hex L-wrench suitable for use with any hex-socket fastener requiring a 5mm key across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical service applications.
This tool is used by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and electricians during equipment service and installation. Always de-energize electrical equipment and shut off gas or fluid supply before accessing fastened panels or components. Use the short arm for final torque and the long arm for initial thread engagement or speed driving. Do not use extension cheater bars on the wrench arm, as this can damage fastener heads or the tool.
