The BON TOOL 82-473 is a socket adapter designed for use with concrete finishing brooms. It features an adjustable handle socket that accepts a standard threaded handle, allowing the broom head to be positioned at varying angles for effective concrete surface finishing. The block is constructed from marine-grade plywood, which resists moisture absorption and warping under wet finishing conditions. The bristles are black styrene. This is a direct replacement component intended for trade professionals performing flatwork concrete finishing on slabs, driveways, sidewalks, and similar surfaces.
This adapter is suited for residential and commercial concrete flatwork applications where a broom finish is required. It is commonly used by concrete finishers and masons working on exterior slabs that require a textured surface for slip resistance. The adjustable socket provides flexibility in broom angle, which is useful when working on large pours or in confined areas. The standard threaded handle connection means it is compatible with commonly available pole handles used on most job sites. Handle is sold separately.
Designed as a BON TOOL replacement socket adapter for concrete finishing brooms that use a standard threaded handle connection. Handle sold separately.
Installation is performed by concrete finishers and masons as part of broom assembly or component replacement. Thread the handle into the adapter socket and adjust the angle before use. No power tools or electrical shutoff is required for this mechanical assembly. Inspect the plywood block and bristles for wear before each use to ensure consistent finish quality.
