Bogen Communications SAH15 Amplified Horn 15W

Product Description

The Bogen Communications SAH15 is a 15-watt amplified horn speaker designed for public address applications. It combines an integrated amplifier and horn driver in a single unit, eliminating the need for a separate power amplifier. Licensed audio and low-voltage contractors install this type of unit in facilities requiring clear, high-output voice or tone distribution. At 15 watts, it delivers sufficient acoustic output for medium-sized interior or exterior zones. The SAH15 is sold as a single unit and is suited for installations where a self-contained, all-in-one horn speaker simplifies wiring and system design.

The SAH15 fits public address systems in commercial, institutional, and light industrial settings. Typical applications include warehouses, parking structures, school campuses, manufacturing floors, and outdoor facility perimeters where a rugged, amplified horn is required. The unit is appropriate for paging, emergency notification, and background music distribution. Because the amplifier is built in, it can be driven directly from a low-level audio source or paging controller without an intermediate power amp stage.

Installation Notes

Installation is typically performed by a licensed low-voltage or audio-visual contractor familiar with public address system design. De-energize the audio distribution system and disconnect the signal source before wiring the unit. Follow local electrical codes and manufacturer wiring guidelines when connecting signal input and power leads. Verify that the source output level is compatible with the input sensitivity of the amplified horn before applying power.
