The BK MUELLER 511-354HP is a malleable iron reducing coupling designed to connect pipes of two different diameters within a threaded piping system. It transitions from a 1-inch pipe to a 3/4-inch pipe and is rated for 300 psi in liquid and gas service and 150 psi in steam service. The Class 150 fitting carries a galvanized finish coating that provides corrosion resistance in both indoor and outdoor applications. Plumbers and pipefitters install this type of coupling during new construction and retrofit work where pipe size reduction is needed along a run.
