The BINARY B-USB2-AA-4M is a USB 2.0 interconnect cable configured with a Type-A male connector on each end. It is designed for data transfer and device connectivity applications where a full 4-meter run is required between host and peripheral. This cable fits within structured AV, automation, and low-voltage installation environments where USB signal integrity over longer runs is a priority. Licensed low-voltage technicians and AV integrators typically deploy this cable during rough-in or final trim when connecting USB peripherals, extenders, or control devices across a rack or installed space.
This cable is suited for residential and light commercial installations where a USB 2.0 Type-A to Type-A connection is needed at extended length. Typical applications include connecting USB hubs, automation controllers, signal extenders, or peripherals in rack-mount and wall-mount AV systems. The 4-meter length accommodates runs that a standard short cable cannot reach without an extender, reducing additional hardware in the signal path.
Designed as a standard USB 2.0 Type-A male to Type-A male interconnect cable for use with any host device or peripheral that accepts a USB 2.0 Type-A interface.
Installation is performed by low-voltage technicians or AV integrators in accordance with applicable low-voltage wiring codes. Ensure the connected host device and peripheral are powered down or have USB ports disabled before seating connectors to avoid enumeration errors. Route the cable away from high-voltage conductors to minimize interference. Do not exceed the USB 2.0 specified cable length limit without an active repeater or extender in the signal path.
